2013 SCOTY WINNER - LEIGH'S 'THE30T'

Leigh Kenney's VL Calais is a masterpiece of panel, paint and trim with a killer 800hp RB30ET and five-speed manual to set it off. It is a true street car that can hold its own on the show scene as evidenced by its inclusion in the Summernats Top 60 earlier in the year.

With just a dozen votes separating the top three cars and three other VLs in the running for SCOTY glory, Leigh's win is a testament to the quality of the build and the enduring popularity of the VL Commodore amongst modified car enthusiasts.

Congratulations must also go to the winners of the SCOTY voting compertition who between them have won more than $4500 in prizes from competition sponsors Top Class Tyres and Alpine Electronics.

On behalf of the entire Street Commodores team and our competition sponsors, a big thank you goes to everyone who helped us choose the 2013 SCOTY winner. To see the full wrap-up of the competition, category winners and runners-up pick up issue #220 of Street Commodores Magazine - on sale early 2014.
