VL Turbo’s have one hell of a massive following, and with good reason when such big horsepower and a wide range of parts are so readily available. Ben’s VL is the perfect example. Starting life out as a simple SL, Ben transformed this VL into a 442rwhp terror with a bit of hard work and good old elbow grease.

The RB30ET was treated to a bit of attention thanks to CP forged pistons, ARP head stud kit, high mount exhaust manifold, GT35/40 turbo, XF throttle body and of course a 600x300x100 hybrid copy intercooler. The angry 3-litre feeds all of its fury through a VL turbo 5-speed which when feeding though a 3.9:1 spooled diff, makes light work of those rear 18” boots.

The whole build has taken about three years to complete, and you can keep updated on Ben’s progress by clicking HERE.
