This weeks Car of the Week gets a little old school. Back to days where truck loads of chrome and carburetor mountains ruled supreme. It’s this Hackett Gold VH SLE that has won my heart for this weeks Car of the Week. Featuring some super straight panels graced in a colour that was borrowed from a HSV SV99, this VH also has a clean leather interior to match the clean sexy exterior.

Under the bonnet lies a warmed over carby-fed 308 producing a health 150rwkw that has seen the VH run a best of a 14 flat at 97MPH over the quarter. The power gets fed through a Trimatic with a 3000rpm stall converter while the back wheels getting spinning via a VL Turbo LSD diff featuring 3.89:1 ratio gears.
