I knew I had found the Car of the Week when I laid eyes on this VP. I’m sure after a quick glance of the engine bay most people would understand. Starting life as a 3.8-litre HSV VP Formula, this Maranello Red over Asteroid Silver beast now features an 5.7-litre LS1 donated out of an CV8 Monaro wedged between the two strut towers, and how good does it look being there! The conversion was done using custom 4/2/1 headers going into dual 2.5” pipes. The whole ordeal has lasted about 4 months and Ben certainly seems to think that when his right foot goes down, it was worth it!
Awesome work Ben, and if you are interested in how the conversion went, click HERE to read his My Commodore thread.
