Hands up who can’t wait for Summernats to roll around this year. Yeah, don’t worry, you’re not alone! This year the massive car festival hits the big 2-0, and is set to have the biggest event line up in Summernats history with appearances from MTV’s ‘Pimp my Ride’, drag racer Victor Bray, and the unveiling of Australia’s newest defense weapon – the Abrams Tank. If that wasn’t enough for you, there also is the highly anticipated revealing of the 7 best street machines of all time – the Meguiars Magnificent 7.

For those out there that want a quick taste of what’s to come, Summernats Promoter Chic Henry, along with ACT Chief Minister Mr. Jon Stanhope MLA, are having an official launch of the car festival which will be held on Tuesday the 12th of December at Garema Place in Canberra City.
Be there at 11:00am to get a taste of some of the 20th Birthday celebrations on offer for the main event which is held over 4 days starting from the 4th to the 7th of January.
