For drag racing fans out there, there is some good news here for you! This Boxing Day is set to go off at Western Sydney International Dragway with Round 3 of the Top Fuel and Top Alcohol commencing with enough action to fuel any revhead’s thirst for speed. See USA’s biggest NHRA stars David Grubnic and Scott Kalitta go head to head and take on Australia’s best in a 500km/h spectacular shootout.

There will also be a Top Doorslammer shootout where $4,000 in prize money will be awarded with no limits on blower overdrive or car weight. Maurice Fabietti is set to run his Monaro shelled Doorslammer after an incredible 6.398 second pass at 222MPH maiden run last week. With more testing and data up his sleeve to play with, keep an eye out as this Holden Genuine Parts sponsored Monaro shoots for the 5 second bracket. Tickets are $50 for adults and $40 for kids aged between 12-16 years old.
