It’s been Summernats Promoter Chic Henry’s intention for some time now to make the 20th anniversary of the show the biggest and best Canberra has ever seen. After a quick flick through the line up of events and entertainment, it soon becomes quite clear that Chic has put together one hell of a good event.

Appearances from Victor Bray in his original flat black ’57 Chevy, John Bowe attempting his first Go to Whoa, Lawrence Legend in another death defying stunt involving a jump and car, Brett Stevens and some Jack Daniels 3000 horsepower Top Doorslammers with plenty more highlights on the list.

The Street Commodores crew will be there checking out the all of the machinery and some fine examples of the female form, and I’ll be there manning the trade stand with tons of merchandise up for sale. Due to the inability of only being able to be in one place at the same time, I regret to inform that the news service will cease until after the event, resuming on Monday the 8th with a short Summernats rundown.
