After last week’s session at Western Sydney International Dragway, it was time for the old girl to hit the rollers. Needing to obtain a power figure before any work gets carried out, the guys at Silverwater Automotive Services were called upon for the use of their dyno.

The result? A healthy 117.4kW’s at the wheels. The dyno did however show the VS was running a little lean in the air/fuel ratio, which is pretty on par considering the Ecotec is running extractors, 2.5” exhaust and a cold air intake with the stock tune.

Forced Induction Technologies have supplied a set of their very popular 1.97 high ratio rockers as well as 5/16 pushrods, which will find their way inside the V6 very shortly.
