We can now confirm that Cruise for Charity will enter its sixth year in 2009!

Major sponsors Meguiar's, House of Kolor and Liqui Moli have all confirmed their support again this year and we've been in contact with both the sponsors and Starlight to begin plans for 2009.

We'll be announcing dates soon, but you can pencil in a start date similar to the last five years - Saturday July 25, 2009.

Different to past years, however, Cruise for Charity 6 will take place over fortnightly events as opposed to each event happening on consecutive weekends.

Valvoline has recently joined forced with Street Commodores and Express Motoring Group to bring you an exciting new initiative that could see you, your car and even your mates featured in a magazine!

Valvoline want to celebrate the unsung heroes of modified cars in this country. Ordinary blokes building and modifying their own cars in their own sheds for their own enjoyment. Not for fame and trophies, but the satisfaction of building a car that reflects their own personality. These lucky blokes will have the opportunity to appear in a nationwide magazine campaign showing them hard at work in their garage.

What we want to see are pictures of people working on their cars in the garage, the shed, the driveway or the barn. Not megabuck grand champions, but ordinary people with a passion for cars doing the best they can with the resources and abilities available.
